    F.O.C.U.S Advise

Pricing. Capacity. Structure. The decisions that decide how next year goes.

Maria Fethers. Founder, Focus AI Studio. Co-founder, Chelmer Mouldings (est. 2005).

F.O.C.U.S Advise is AI-led business mentoring for owners of established businesses. Six working sessions on the decisions actually in front of you, worked through properly against your own numbers. AI-led because it runs through all of it, not because it is a separate topic bolted on at the end. Six sessions over three or six months, with a written brief-back and a scorecard each time. Two fixed prices: £4,200 for three months, or £7,200 for six.

    The problem

The decisions that matter most rarely have a deadline.

Pricing that has not moved in three years. A capacity problem you cannot yet hire your way out of. A structure that worked at six people and does not at fifteen. None of it urgent enough to force the issue this week, all of it expensive to keep putting off.

What is missing is someone on your side of the table who has run real businesses rather than only advised on them, and who will work through those decisions with you properly rather than leaving them on the list for another quarter.

    What AI-led actually means

    Take a capacity problem.

There are three honest answers, and most mentors can only offer you the first two.

    1. 01

      Change the process.

The work is being done in the wrong order.

    2. 02

      Make the hire.

The work is real and it needs a person.

    3. 03

      Build it.

The work is repetitive, and it can be taken off people entirely.

Knowing which one it is, and being able to say so honestly, is the whole point. Build work is never part of an Advise block; if something worth building comes out of a session it is scoped and quoted separately, in writing.

    What's included

Six sessions, and the work around them.

Both blocks run the full F.O.C.U.S arc. What differs is the pace, and how much time there is to see whether the decisions actually worked.

    • Pre-session prep, so we start where the business actually is rather than spending the session getting there
    • A 90 minute working session, focused on decisions rather than discussion
    • A written brief-back within 48 hours, so the thinking is on paper and not just remembered
    • A personal scorecard, reviewed monthly, tracking what has actually moved
    • Access between sessions by WhatsApp or email, for the questions that will not wait

Three month block · the full arc, concentrated

    Six sessions, fortnightly.

Six sessions, fortnightly. The complete F.O.C.U.S arc at pace: Foundation, Opportunities, Clarity, Upgrade and Sustain. Suited to owners with one or two clear decisions in front of them who want to get to the answer and get moving.

Six month block · the full arc, with room to prove it

    Six sessions, monthly.

Six sessions, monthly. The same arc, with time between sessions for decisions to be carried out and tested in the working week. A decision made in month two can be reviewed against real numbers in month five, which three months cannot give you. Six full cycles of the scorecard rather than three.

I don't earn more by recommending a build, which is why the advice stays honest.

    Why me

    Lived experience, not theory.

Over 20 years buying, scaling and selling businesses across construction, property, manufacturing and hospitality. I still actively run Chelmer Mouldings, which I co-founded in 2005.

So the conversations we have about pressure, payroll and where the time actually goes are ones I am having in my own companies at the same time. Not remembered from a decade ago, and not read in a book.

    Six sessions, fortnightly.

£1,400 a month across three months.

    Paid in full upfront.

    Six month block

    £7,200

    Six sessions, monthly.

£1,200 a month across six months.

Half at signing, half at the month three midpoint.

Most owners get more from the six month block. A decision made early can be checked against real numbers before the engagement ends, and the scorecard has time to show a trend rather than a snapshot.

Fixed blocks, agreed in writing. Nothing rolls on by default, and there is no monthly figure to keep an eye on.

I take a maximum of five Advise clients at any one time, so that every engagement gets the prep and attention it needs.

    Questions

No. F.O.C.U.S Advise stands entirely on its own. Plenty of the work that comes out of it is a decision, a process change or something you stop doing, none of which needs building.

Then it is quoted separately, in writing, as its own piece of work. Build is never bundled into the Advise blocks, and I do not earn more by recommending one.

A coach works on you. I work on the business. And because I use these tools inside my own companies, I know what is actually buildable and what is still a demo.

There is nothing to cancel, it is a fixed block rather than a rolling arrangement. If the plan is not landing, we adjust it together at the next session.
